Design Technology

Our vision....

Design and Technology education makes an essential contribution to creativity, culture and wealth of the nation.  It aims to inspire, challenge and prepare learners to become responsible innovative designers, engineers, problem solvers and consumers of tomorrow.  
Learners will design, make, think critically and learn crucial life skills. They will develop a broad range of subject knowledge whilst also demonstrating their understanding through designing, making, analysing and evaluating in a range of contexts. Through the refinement of key skills and knowledge at KS3 learners will be able to develop their understanding and confidently explore their creativity and design skills in Key Stage 4 and beyond.
